I have loved horses all my life. I started with a nice Paint Horse, but as I aged my back went from bad to worse and soon she was not smooth enough for me. I then started the hunt, trying one Gaited Breed after another until I shipped in the love of my life, Majestic Impression, a Spotted Saddle Horse straight out of a show ring in Kentucky (Thanks to Jim and Mary Ann Dobson at Jimar Farm for being so honest and helping me get this wonderful horse).

However, he grew and grew until I could not tack him up or mount him with out my Husbands help (which I only get on weekends) and so I found that I was only able to ride on the weekends. This would not due for me, so I explored the gaited breeds some more, and came across the marvelous and unique Icelandic Horse. Thanks to Heather Jackson of Seigur Icelandics right here in the Salt Lake area, I found my first Icelandic Horse named Faxa.

For the first time I was able to tack-up, mount and ride, ride, and ride to my hearts content without help. I was hooked, so I went back and purchased Heathers other mare Drifa and again found a nice, easy and smooth ride. My Husband and I are so taken by these horses that we've decided to share this wonderful breed with others. Thus we have acquired a number of mares, stallions and geldings. We do our own training, and we strive to perfect the best gaits and most wonderful dispositions and conformation as we can in our breeding program. I do think we have a very nice group of Icelandic's.
